Exemplary Literacy Program
Does your school have an exemplary literacy program? Do you sponsor a unique initiative or effort to promote literacy? Does your school go above and beyond to enhance literacy? Apply for our Exemplary Literacy Award. This award is given to an elementary, middle, and high school each year and includes a $150 grant for each winning school. Read for the Record 2013!
100% of the elementary schools in Anne Arundel County participated by reading Otis by Loren Long.
2,464,860 children were read to worldwide this year and the record was broken!!!!!! Last year’s record was 2,385, 305
In Anne Arundel County 8,376 were read to. Way to go!
2013 FALL MINI-CONFERENCE:
Over 80 educators joined us for an afternoon of kindling literacy and sparking energy into our clasrooms! All who attended received a certificate to include in their Professional Practices folder and left with great ideas for their classrooms.
